Together, they share the diverse styles and moods of music and dance that make up Israel’s evolving culture, in an exciting, uplifting stage production.

This special online event, presented by CIOFF® Israel and Rokdim-Nirkoda magazine, is dedicated to YONATAN KARMON z”l, the legendary dancer, choreographer and stage producer who changed the image of Israeli folk dance throughout the world. In addition to his iconic stage productions and the Karmiel Dance Festival, some of Karmon’s dances that were adapted by Danny Uziel from the stage became most popular in Israeli folk dance sessions worldwide, including Ha’Ro’a Ha’Ktana, Al Tira and Yamin U’Smol (Orcha Bamidbar).For more information: cioff-israel@cioff.org rokdim@rokdim.co.il

HORATI 2017 – THE WORLD’S FAIR OF ISRAELI FOLK DANCE
Directed by Danny Uziel and Ruth Goodman, HORATI 2017 will be a worldwide premier event as Israeli folk dance enthusiasts and performing groups will be traveling from Israel and across the globe, including for the first time, Galgal Ba’Ma’agal, an inspiring group of Israeli wheelchair folk dancers. Presented by the Israeli Dance Institute, the event is open to the public and will feature a broad spectrum of workshops and performances.
