• A Shabbat experience with the Temple Israel community and the use of dance to enhance preparation for and observance of Shabbat:
– Family Friday night dinner and “Dancing Oneg”
– “Lunch and Learn” with Rabbi David Eligberg following Shabbat morning services
• Forum for teachers to share their experiences
– “Dance and Share” – Participants are invited to bring their ideas, materials, visual and printed resources to share.
• Showcase for children’s performing groups with the goal of creating regional Israeli Folk Dance Festivals
• Opportunities for certification and continuing education credits
• Saturday Night Special: Israeli folk dance workshop and party with Ruth Goodman and sponsored by Temple Israel’s adult dance classes and Nancy Bell
